1958-2021
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brave and beautiful mom/nana Cindy J. Hosford. She passed away peacefully surrounded by love on October 22, 2021.
She is survived by her children Bob and Shamma. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren Destiny and Salaah. Cindy is also survived by her sister Jane Hosford and brother Robert Hosford (Sandra).
She courageously fought every battle thrown her way with immense strength and determination. It would be wrong to say that mom lost her battle because she never stopped fighting.
She had a huge welcoming heart that made everyone feel safe. Family was the most important thing to her. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, her driving force, her everything. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. We love you mom/nana always and forever.
The family will receive condolences at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 rue Notre-Dame, Lachine, QC, H8S 2G5, (514-639-1511) on Sunday November 7, 2021, from 1:00pm-2:00pm (service) 2:00pm-3:30pm(viewing).

I can’t believe she is gone, I wasn’t aware she was ill. I remember an evening hanging at Carmen’s Restaurant, on King Square. We never caused any trouble, we were just hanging and having fun, she was so devilish, she was up for anything. Haven’t spoken to her for years, but I thought of her often. Big beautiful heart and ready smile that was our Janey. Much love and peace. Belinda
