Mrs. Heather Clarke Lewis

1947-2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Clarke Lewis, on January 25, 2025 at the age of 77.

Heather was born on April 27, 1947 in Montreal to two loving parents Marguerite Bleau and Ronald Clarke. Heather got married in 1968 to Raymond Lewis, such love and devotion lasting 57 years.

She had two children, Andrew and Bonnie, as well as three grandchildren, Michael, Faythe and Breana, as well as four siblings, Marlyn, Norman, Craig and Barry.

Heather was known for her strongwill , unwavering determination, and love and support for her family.

Mom battled Cancer for five years, never giving up, she kept fighting to live and even on her worst days she was there to lend a helping hand, or a kind word. Our mother loved reading, especially her Daniel Steele books, or sitting outside on her balcony with her grandkids sharing stories. She loved going on drives with my dad in the countryside especially in their volkswagon beetle. Our mom was a quiet person, some would say shy, but once you got to know her you felt her warmth and love.

We would like to thank the staff at the Charles Le Moyne hospital, for all the love and kindness they showed her.

You will always be in our hearts, We love you.

My deepest condolences to you Andrew and your whole family. I loved your mom! She had a delightful smile, and I so enjoyed her laughter and the way she would look at your dad when he was entertaining her. Their love for each other and for your family was always evident. I trust you will find comfort in the abundance of wonderful memories you hold. I know I will. I am always here for you!
