It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that our beautiful Joanne passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. She was a very proud Mom to her son, Liam. Joanne was a bright light in the lives of so many. She had a positive energy that was contagious, and she always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She had a laugh and a smile that lit up the room and warmed our hearts.
Joanne is survived by her beloved son, Liam, her Mom, Lucie, mother, Sue (Yves), father Roger (Sandra), sister Louise, and brother Alex, many family members and so many friends.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, June 30th at the Valois Bay Nautical Center, 90 Lakeshore Rd. Pointe Claire, from 3pm to 6pm. Joanne wished for everyone to wear bright colors to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the McGill Brain Tumor Research Unit would be greatly appreciated. Joanne wished to help people suffering with brain tumors. https://www.mcgill.ca/neuro/donate
