1948-2023
LINDA ROSE NOONAN, our cherished mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2023 in her seventy-fourth year. Daughter of the late Kathleen (Lynch) and Micheal L Noonan, she is survived by her son, Colin Monaghan of Pointe Claire, her great Aunt Jean (Lynch) Lortie of Dorval, her Aunt Edith Lynch (Arthur) of Florida, her brother Michael Noonan of DDO, her friend and former partner Michael Monaghan of London, ON, and many relatives in Ontario, Michigan, New York, Florida, and other states.
Predeceased by her sister Shirley and brother-in-law Lawrence Murphy of Boston, her nephew Larry Murphy of Boston and her uncle Charles Lortie of Dorval.Dearly loved Grandmother (Mana) to Cameron and Danika Monaghan and their mother Laurie Dixon of Ile Perrot.
Loving Aunt to Darlene, Patrick (Cheryl), Charlie (Jenn) Murphy all of Boston, and Darcy (Petra) Noonan of Beaconsfield. Cherished great-Aunt to Aidan, Harry, Owen, Danny, Nolan and Emma Murphy and Grayson and Mila Noonan.
She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends from CN and Rolls-Royce Canada. Linda had a remarkably strong, persevering and charitable character. Her endearing personality was contagious to everyone she met, and she will be remembered by the adventures she had, the achievements she made and the people she loved. May she rest in peace.
The family will receive condolences at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval, 514-631-1511, on Friday, July 28 from 6 to 9pm. Her life will be celebrated in a funeral mass on Saturday, July 29 at 12 noon from St. John Fisher Parish, 120 Av. Summerhill, Pointe-Claire.
