Mrs. Sylvie LeCavalier

1953-2024

It is with deepest regret and sorrow that I must inform all the friends and relatives of Sylvie LeCavalier’s death on January 3, 2024 in Montreal, Quebec. She was a long time resident of Lachine, Qc.

She was pre-deceased by parents, Priscille Bissonnette (mother) and Amedee LeCavalier (father) and younger brother Michel Lecavalier, along side who she will be laid to rest for eternity.

She leaves behind to mourn, her intimate friend and life partner of over 34 years, Frederick Michael Gideon (Fred), resident of Montreal, Qc where and by whose side she passed away. Also there is her long time childhood friend Margaret McGregor Jardine of Burlington, On, who misses her dearly.

She also leaves her beloved niece Katrina LeCavalier, husband Jon and their two children Madison and Jaxson, and nephew Trevor, as well as their much beloved mother Linda Kennedy all of Ajax, On.

There is also a cousin, Caroline Descary of Dorval,Qc, who helped her in many ways and will surely miss her. She also had her older brother Norman LeCavalier, presently residing in Kelowna, B.C.

Sylvie had many friends and acquaintances whose hearts she touched with her love and warm, gentle character which they will miss. She was always ready to volunteer her time in any way she could to help others in spite of her limiting health issues.

The family will receive condoleances on January 13th, 2024 from 2 :00pm to 3 :00pm at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Dr., Dorval, H9S 2B3 (514-631-1511, www.jjcardinal.ca), followed by the service in the chapel of the funeral home at 3 :00pm.

In lieu of flowers or other such items, please consider if you must, a donation to a worthy cause or charity in her name.

May God take care of her soul now and forever.
