It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Shannon, beloved husband of Yolande Cardinal, on August 27 at the Jewish General Hospital, at the age of 86 years.
He leaves to mourn his children Normand (Johanne Gagnon) and Monique (Joseph Wolkow) ; his grandchildren Véronique (Mathieu Dumont), Stéphanie (Marc-Antoine Perron), Audrey (Nicolas Héroux), Luke and Matthew; his great-grandchildren Tristan, Charlie, Nathan, Lucas, and Maika; his brother Dwayne; his sisters Sharon (Elwyn), Caroline (Lorne), Brenda (Lorne) and Cindy ( the late George); his sisters-in-law from the Cardinal family, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 1pm-3pm, at the J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Road, Dorval (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-631-1511), followed by a funeral service in the chapel.
