1935-2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian on September 27, 2020 at the age of 85 years after a brief illness. His wife of 57 years, Lynn, predeceased him by 11 months.
Cherished father of Wendy (Rémi), Carolyn (Robert), Wayne (Carmen), and adored grandchildren James and Adriana. Brother of Rodney (Kathy) and brother-in-law of Brian and Gail Turnbull. He also leaves his nephews, nieces and friends.
Dad loved family, friends and the winters he shared with our mother in Florida. Brian was retired from Bell Canada for many years. He loved the arts, music, theatre and was a founding member of Lakeshore Players. He was also a member of the church choir where he sang for fifty years. Dad enjoyed sports, especially hockey which he loved watching his grandson play. He was a kind, loving man with a big heart and great sense of humour. Due to current COVID restrictions a private funeral will be held. Those wishing to honour Brian may consider a donation to St. John Fisher Church (120 Summerhill Ave., Pointe-Claire, QC).
