It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Mazzoni at the age of 66 at the Valleyfield Hospital on Saturday, February 10, 2024. He died peacefully and surrounded by family.
He leaves in mourning his loving wife of 44 years Helena (Elena) Bordi, his children, David, Lisa (Joseph), his mother Lina, his grandchildren, Jacob and Kayla, his brother, Marco (Dalia) and his brother-in-law, Lou as well as his nieces and nephews, Erika, Liam, Emerson and Tyler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home (2125 rue Notre-Dame, Lachine, H9S 2G5, 514-639-1511). Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.

John was a great friend who will be missed so much.
You are in my prayers.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew John as early as high school and from bowling every Saturday afternoon when we were kids. What great fun we had. Later we both ended up working at the same company for many years and our paths often crossed in the office. I remember John always greeting everyone with a welcoming smile. He was a genuinely good and kind hearted person.
May your memories of John be a blessing and of comfort during this sad time. May he rest in eternal peace.
I was very shocked and saddened to hear of John’s passing. There is nothing I can say that will ease your pain but just know I am thinking of you.
