It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Mailly. He was one month shy of his 94th birthday.
He leaves in mourning his children Sonia (Jürgen Seizer), Suzanne (Michaël Stumpf), Lola (Benoit Lapointe) and Pierre; his grandchildren Katia (Marco), Carl, Frédéric (Mia), Kailin, Nicholas (Sarah), Mikaela, Dominic, Isabelle (Gabriel), and Lily; his great-grandchildren Thomas, Théo and Zachary; his sister Cécile; his goddaughter Hélène Doucet; Carl Dragoun; as well as several other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his deeply cherished wife Géraldine Morin and his beloved son Eric (Julie Freeman).
Originally from Saint-Léonard-d’Aston, his openness to the world led him to exercise his profession as a financial controller on 4 continents. First and foremost, he was a family man who always remained young at heart. His generosity, his lively wit and imagination, his sense of humour, and his unconditional love for children will forever be engraved in our memories.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday June 8th, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at Saint-Joachim church in Pointe-Claire. The funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m., followed by a reception.
Donations in his honour can be made to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence.
