1943-2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Arthur Langston, who left us on February 4, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Bathurst, N.B., he was the son of the late Arthur Langston and Roseline Haché.
As a teenager, Ronald moved to Montreal, where he built a life rooted in hard work, dedication, and love for his family. A man of discipline, principle and strong morals, he kept in shape with daily jogging, push-ups, and sit-ups until just a few months ago. Loved fishing, watching birds and being in nature. An avid reader and Scrabble player, he always enjoyed a good challenge and lifelong learning. In recent years, his greatest devotion was caring for his beloved wife, Louise Vinet Langston, who is living with Alzheimer’s.
Ronald will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his loving wife Louise, their six children: Christine (Frank), Brigitte (Izzy), Catherine (Stephen), Patrick (Sandy), Daniel, and Mickey (Trishana), as well as his ten cherished grandchildren: Lauren, Erika, Sofia, Breanna, David, Kate, Elizabeth, Kathleen, Khaicyah, and Kingston. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Annette, his brothers Murray and Gary (Debbie), his uncle Léonce Haché (Claudette) and many nieces and nephews. He is reunited with his late sister Suzanne.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, February 11th, from 2 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, as well as on Wednesday, February 12th, from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by a chapel service at J.C. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive (Bord-du-Lac), Dorval. A burial will follow at La Présentation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge Cemetery, 665 Av. de l’Église, Dorval.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Québec Foundation would be greatly appreciated: https://www.diabete.qc.ca/en/cash-donations/

To the Langston‘s family, I share my deepest condolences to all of you.
we were neighbours back in the early 80s and your family welcomed me into your home and I always remember your dad having a smile on his face. It was a sweet and kind man. I think of you all often, so with this grief that you endure, I feel your pain. May he rest in peace. I send my hugs to you all.
