1931 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Annie Saviuk on October 10, 2021, wife of the late Harry Saviuk. Annie fought her battle with cancer using the strength and determination she was known for yet, to the end, she always put her family’s well-being above her own. A true Ukrainian Baba that way!
She leaves to mourn her loving children Helen and Steven (Johanne), her grandchildren Eric, Julia (Rolando), Natasha, Philippe, Zachary and William and her great-grandson Maximo. Her many friends at St. George Ukrainian Orthodox Church, The Teapot and Le Belvedere will miss her greatly.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 9 am to 11 am followed by the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am. Interment at St. George Orthodox Cemetery, Lachine will follow.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Cedar Cancer Center and the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for the attentive care they gave Annie. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to offer my Deepest Sympathy and Condolences to Annie’s Family.
I moved to Lachine in the latter part of 2016 and became a resident of Les Belvederes.I was introduced to Anne by a friend. We became good friends.Not only was Anne a beautiful lady, but she was a warm and beautiful person inside as well. Rest In Peace my dear friend.
