We are saddened to announce the passing of Ascenza Giovannone Mammone of Dorval, Quebec, at the age of 83.
Resting at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Chemin Bord-du-Lac/Lakeshore Drive, Dorval H9S 2B3, www.jjcardinal.ca , 514-631-1511. Visitation on Thursday, March 16 from 9am. The funeral mass will follow at 11am at Eglise La-Présentation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge, Dorval, 665 Av. de l’Église, Dorval, H9S 1R4. Burial at Mausoleum Marguerite- Bourgeois, Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC H3V 1 E7.

I’m glad I waited till after her farewell to share a message here. You guys gave such beautiful tributes to your mom. I didn’t know she got her license so late and did yoga and got on her bike and went all over town. She was an inspiration, not just a great mom and Nonna! My best memory of her was her cookies…she was such a great baker and if you can share one of her recipes I will add it into my regular rotation, and it will be a nod to her every time I make them.
It is never easy to say goodbye to someone so close, but we love what she meant to you and know what you meant to her. Sending hugs and strength during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathies sincerely from my heart….dreamt of her just last Sunday…she will be dearly missed…May she rest in Peace….Amen!
