Carmelle spent her twilight years living at the Belvedere residence in Lachine, where she shared the company of many friends.

Carmelle had a successful career at Yellow Pages Group, where she blazed a trail for being among two of the first women in outside sales. A talented seamstress, Carmelle loved to make dresses for children. Her other hobbies included travel, skiing, playing piano, spending summers at the family cottage near Laurel, Qc, and most of all, playing bridge with her many friends.

Was privileged to be able to attend the service for Carmelle today. She was a very sweet lady. I know her faith meant a lot to he and I will have a Mass said for her and remember her in my prayers.
