Lucette was a woman of substance and principle and great kindness. She was a wonderful woman who had 4 children and then adopted a fifth. She was a nurses aid for many years, and volunteered for many years after retirement. She was petite but strong riding her bike well into her late 80’s. She helped my Mother after my sister was born and nursed her own mother at home after she’d had a major stroke. Even in her 80’s she visited my Mother regularly when she entered a senior’s residence. Lucette lost her dear husband Marcel about 9 years ago. Lucette’s feet were badly injured in the car accident which took his life but she came out of that tradgedy able to walk again. Lucette was generous and loving and after every encounter she’d put her arms around us and say good bye and saying “Love You” She remembered birthdays and Christmas with a card every year. We will miss her deeply.

As the mother of William and Stephanie Norton, I wish to join them in expressing our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. I remember her to be a very kind, caring, and sweet woman, who obviously had amazing resilience and inner strength. Upon hearing of her passing, we were deeply saddened. May God comfort you at this difficult time.
