Mr. Brian Arnold

1943 – 2024

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Arnold, beloved husband, cherished brother and friend to many. His departure leaves behind a great void within the family. His wife of 56 years, Leda Miller, his brothers Roy (Sidney Goodwill), Neville (Catherine Campbell), and beloved twin brother Wayne (Mireille Ostiguy).

Brian’s humour and interpersonal skills will be remembered and cherished. His family and friends always respected his competencies as a home appliance repair technician. Brian had a remarkable love for automobiles and was proud of his abilities to repair their air conditioning units. His culinary knowledge and cooking abilities will be missed by family members. Brian had a passionate love of football.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff of the oncology department of the Lakeshore General Hospital for their follow-up, dedication and support over the past two years. Many thanks also to the ICU and palliative care units of the Lakeshore Hospital for their care and assistance.

The family will receive condolences from 2 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, H9S 2B3, 514-631-1511 (www.jjcardinal.ca), followed at 4 pm by a Celebration of Life in the chapel of the funeral home. A burial will be held at a later date.

    Dear Wayne,
my heart hurts for you, only you know how much pain you are feeling with the passing away of your Twin Brother.
Time and our life is like sand in our fist, we hold tight until one day we lack the strength and our live and soul vacates our body to go to a place of no worries and eternal peace.
I shall always remember Brian for his hearty laugh and good spirit when you Twins sat on your deck.
Please, extend my condolences to all your family members.
    You are in my thoughts.
    Emil
