Mr. Lorne Neville

Mr. Lorne Neville

In loving memory of Lorne Neville,

We are sad at the untimely passing of Lorne Neville. He was a good friend, a fine uncle, an important son, a true wit and a smart soul.  He will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.  We knew him as private person with a  strong and optimistic outlook.  He fought with iron-strength to combat his illness. He met with his end as a racer finishes a prestigious race. He went on to the heavens on Tuesday, June, 6th, 2023 at just after 12 noon.  Godspeed and Peace to you, Lorne Neville, in infinity.

Please join us at JJ Cardinal Funeral Home at 560, Bord Du Lac in Dorval, Quebec, Canada on Sunday June, 18th, 2023 from 12 noon to 3pm for visitation and to share in a buffet from 3pm to 6pm.  We should love to welcome family, friends and acquaintances who may attend.  Thank you.

I have known Lorne since early high school. Back then, our lives revolved around sports. Lorne was by far the best athlete amount us…..he was bigger and stronger, could throw a baseball at lightning speed. Later on when we had cars, we would often work on them together. Lorne loved to drive and explore rural areas. We travelled out west, camped, and just hung out together. It’s hard to accept the passing of a friend that you grew up with…..at least now , he is at peace. I will miss him. My condolences to Joyce and family.
    Rob.

As far as I’m concerned, Lorne was the most grateful person on earth. He had such a positive outlook on life and was such a delight to be around. My condolences to his family and friends, he will be deeply missed

I got to know Lorne when I met Rob, some 35+ years. The friendship between Lorne and Rob was deep and supportive. I remember Lorne coming to our place, first in Montreal and later here in Ottawa. Always pleasant, never demanding, always appreciating everything. I was also particularly impressed with his memory! He knew so much about so many topics (cars, birds etc) yet never bragged about it. Lorne fought a courageous battle, displaying his typical appreciation (‘Im treated like a king here’ he said to us when we visited him in the IC at Notre Dame Hospital). With time, may the cherished memories ease the burden of sorrow. Condolence to the family and friends, we will miss Lorne.
