Heartfelt condolences to each of you. Walter was always such a pleasure to be around during special family events thru the decades. From the time I met Linda in the early 1990’s, and slowly each of the beautiful Jonke ladies. Carol, Dibs, and Newman i have never heard the song – “We are Family” without thinking of the joy on Walter’s face watching his family. It was at the last wedding I spent the most time with Walter privately and had time to talk and listen as he shared so many loving thoughts. He was so incredibly proud and grateful for the life he lived and the lives each of you created.
Carol you are the pure love of his heart. What a privilege to hear him speak so candidly of the love he felt for his son-in-laws and his grandchildren as well.
Rest in Peace Walter you truly lived a wonderful life.
    Love to all of you.

Sending love to each of you as you face this transition in your family. The last time I spent with Walter was at Ryan & Sara’s wedding. It was a true gift to spend some private time speaking to him and listening to the love and joy he felt for each of you. Carol, the love of his life and his daughters, then to be given his son-in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Peace be with each of you as you remember the beautiful Patriarch of such a loving family.
    Hugs.
    Cheri
