Mrs. Dianne Robinson née Halme

Mrs. Dianne Robinson née Halme

1948-2023

It is with great sadness that we announce that Dianne Robinson died peacefully at home after being unexpectedly stricken with cancer.

Dianne lived her life in colour and to the full. Having resided in Bolivia, India, Australia, South Africa, and England at various times in her life, she loved to travel and discover new experiences. She was a passionate and artistic quilter, with wide interests in textile art, knitting, music, and good food. Dianne shared her companionship, interests, and love of life with many groups of friends both in Canada and around the world, and took great joy in bringing people together.

She leaves her much loved and loving family: husband Robbie, daughters Sarah and Rebecca, and brother Don Halme (Louise Lalongé).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation in her memory to either NOVA West Island, whose support to the family in the final months of her life was invaluable, or the Chez Doris women’s shelter in Montreal, which was a favourite charity of Dianne’s.

Lyn and I are devastated to hear that Dianne has passed away. We would communicate regularly about our trips around the world and Robbie and I spent many years with Otis. To Robbie and his family please know that we are thinking about you during these difficult times.
