It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ioana Iuliana Mereuta at the age of 44 years. She is reunited with her dad Agrii Mereuta.
She leaves behind her loving husband Domenic Fraietta, their children Vincenzo Antonio Fraietta and Emilia Mereuta, her mom Ellena Mereuta, her in laws Vincenzo Fraietta and Maria Fraietta, her sister-in-law Lisa Fraietta (Vincenzo D’Alesio), her niece Sabrina D’Alesio (Anthony Conte) and their son Gianluca Conte, her nephew Luigi D’Alesio, along with many family and friends.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca, 514-639-1511) on Monday August 22nd from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Madre dei Cristiani church, 1600 Thierry, Lasalle, on August 23rd at 11 am.

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the Mereuta family. Ioana Mereuta was a kind and generous soul who cared deeply for her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her mom Ellena Meruta, her husband Domenic Fraietta and her two beautiful children Emilia & Vincenzo.
