Mrs Patsy Sparks (Labbé)

Patricia Doreen Sparks Labbe, “Patsy” age 72 of Montreal, QC passed away on March 17th 2019 in hospital surrounded by family. Born in Lake Loon, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Sparks. Patsy worked for over 25 years with Department of National Defence. She was an avid gardener, a fantastic cook and baker. She loved good music, being surrounded by family and friends and having good times and lots of laughter. Patsy loved to read and could often be found with a good book and a “cup of tea”. She loved to travel and to spend her time with her friends and family – brothers and sisters, children and grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her children – Deanne, Rene, Andrea (Nick), Manon (Benoit), and Vicki and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters – Lorna, Diana and Sharmaine; and brothers – Arnold, David, Milton (Cheryl), Marlin, Nolan, Glenn, and Tony Sparks and many nieces and nephews. Patsy was predeceased by her husband, Michel Labbe; her parents; and brother, Terry Sparks. Visitation will be held at 2-5pm on Sunday, March 24th at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home Dorval, 560 Pr. Lakeshore Drive, Dorval. The funeral service will take place at a later date in Lake Loon, (Cherry Brook) Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the Palliative Care team, and the staff at the Lachine Hospital and to family friends who visited and helped in any way.
