Passed away on November 5th, 2019 at the age of 98 years old
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Albino Maidich (Até) on November 5, 2019. He now rejoins his beloved wife Angela Bostiancic after 6 years.
Born in what is now Slovenija to the late Franc Majdic and Marija Mikuletic. In March 1947, he and Angela were married in Navarro, Italy and moved to Belgium where they had their two children. They immigrated to Canada together, for a new life, in 1951.
He leaves to mourn his loving children Anne Marie (Réal Dubois) and Albin, his cherished grandchildren Samuel Dubois (Christine Wagner), Simon Dubois, Natalie Maidich (Moein Alizadeh), Daniel Maidich (Joyce Navarro-Dalin) and Mark Maidich, and his adored great-grandchildren Cameron and Livia. He also leaves behind many relatives in Slovenija, Italy, Australia and Toronto.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM (noon) followed by a prayer in the funeral home at noon.
